ESC Laboratoire nutrition ointment is a high quality ointment made from quality vegetable materials that protect the horn such as vegetable wax or oleoresin. Our ointment made from laurel oil is suitable for daily maintenance of the hoof in order to nourish and soften the horn. Laurel oil also helps cleanse and protect against bacterial infections. In order to ensure a very practical liquid consistency, we adapt the level of vegetable wax. Our formula is guaranteed without tar or animal fat. The strengths of our formula are:

• Vegetable wax: our vegetable wax comes from a tree from a tree in South America. This wax has a strong film-forming power, which is therefore protective for the hoof. It is a natural glazing agent commonly used in the cosmetics industry
• Oleoresin: an oleoresin is a natural secretion formed from an essence and the resin resulting from the oxidation of this essence. The essential oil of turpentine, obtained from the distillation of conifer resin, is particularly recognized for its antiseptic properties.
• Keratin: keratin is a protein synthesized by the body and used as a structural element of the skin appendages. Keratin is the main constituent of the epidermis, hair and horn

This ointment is packaged in a 500ml iron can with a brush. It is therefore very easy to use and ideal in very cold seasons.
